The Chelsea Barracks buildings were built in 1862 to house two battalions of infantry.

However, the barracks were vacated and closed in 2008, and the site was set for redevelopment for residential use.

Building Perspectives worked alongside the developer to deliver both hard and soft landscaping aspects within the development, around each of the luxurious apartment blocks and townhouses to enhance and develop the site, ready for sale.

The project required the contractor to work between the new residential structures and finish the works concurrent with the other trade contractors operating on site. Due to the nature and location of the project, the materials used were extremely high-end and required time and attention to detail to install to ensure that the client's expectations were managed and realised.

The garden space and water features continue to develop and thrive - providing homeowners and the public a tranquil space to move about, and the garden is continuously supplied with seasonal flowers, herbs and fruits to add colour and feature.
