Alan McMahon MSc, DipArb, MCIArb.
Alan’s background is in the commercial management of companies and projects, surveying, dispute resolution, adjudication, mediation, and negotiation. In addition, his expertise more broadly is in the introduction and development of company management and financial control systems. His goal is to help organisations and professionals deal with company and project issues, and to provide other related services and people.
Since commencing his professional career in the Construction Industry in 1985 he gained experience in multiple areas of the construction industry including new build and refurbishment, civils, ground-works and frames, main Contracting and subcontracting organisations, rising to Regional Commercial Manager for a major international company and Surveying Director for another organisation.
His particular focus has been on the management of problematic commercial situations and project related issues, negotiating project terms & conditions, claims preparation and resolution of disputes, resolving & dealing with project problems and managing people.
Alan is also an avid public speaker and trainer, speaking on a wide range of issues including construction, negotiation and communication skills.
